I still laugh when I think back to their engagement shoot and Lindsay hopped out of the car and immediately told me that they were awkward in front of the camera. Not sure what world she’s living in, but in my world- Lindsay & Hunter are total specimens. 😉 All kidding aside, working with Lindsay & Hunter was sincerely so amazing. They have hearts of gold and truly felt like friends to me after the first time we met. It’s weird that after a year or more of communicating with my couples about wedding plans and shooting their engagement session and getting to know them and being their right hand gal on their wedding day it all of sudden just kind stops. And I MISS THEM. It makes me a little sad, but then I think about how much joy telling their story brought me and that they will always have a tiny piece of me in their photos and I will always carry their love close and I can just smile about the journey we took together.
The Thorsen wedding was emotional (in all the right ways). It was raw. It was real. It was perfect. Lindsay & Hunter invited all of their favorite people to Carlos Creek Winery this past September to celebrate their love. They wrote their own vows (…you’re a robot if you didn’t shed a tear!) & became husband and wife as warm rays of sunshine poured through the trees. At dusk, they were able to spend some quality time together amongst the vines taking in a few quiet moments as day turned to night (and I was lucky enough to third wheel and capture some of the romance). I loved everything about this day & this couple. Now go enjoy their story.
