Yet another “Up North” wedding that I can’t stop raving about. Where to start with Trisha & Sam? They are such wonderful humans— so kind & thoughtful & insanely in love with each other. The heart & soul of their story belongs in Duluth, MN— so getting married anywhere else just wouldn’t have made sense. Another big part of their story is beer. Trisha & Sam met while working together at 7west Taphouse in Duluth. They spent many nights drinking beer together, going on night hikes & watching the sunrise before making things official. Sam eventually started working for Bent Paddle Brewery brewing beer, so like I said— soooo many of their memories have been created with some good beer. And a lot of good stories start with good beer, right? 🙂

Like their engagement shoot— they personalized their wedding day to include elements of their story throughout the entire course of the day— they said their personalized vows overlooking Duluth, their beloved dog walked down the aisle (big fan of that!), they brought their old truck as their “getaway car” & they incorporated a whole lot of beer. Instead of a unity candle or sand, they had unity beer (cheers to that!). They even hosted their reception at the Bent Paddle Brewing Co. warehouse! It was so fun to see their vision come to life & it was truly an amazing day to witness.
