Say hey to Brianna & James. I adore these two & looooved hanging with them at their engagement shoot this past summer! They are just wonderful humans to be around— conversation felt easy & our personalities all meshed so well. I love it when that happens. 🙂 Here is their sweet proposal story in Brianna’s words—

“James says that I’m very observant and a bloodhound, so when it came to proposing, he wanted to make sure he surprised me. One Thursday evening, before I drove to MSP to fly out and visit my sister on a Friday, I came home from work and then running errands to find James in my apartment! He was wearing his best suit, and had a multitude of bouquets lining the entryway of my apartment (including a bouquet of tulips because he knew they were my sister Allison’s favorite and he wanted her to be a part of that moment). He asked me to marry him and without hesitation I said yes!! He then let me change out of my scrubby sweatpants from running errands so we could get dressed up and we celebrated at the Toasted Frog in Fargo.

For several weeks leading up to our engagement, I kept asking James if he was ever going to marry me. And every time, he assured me that he would, but all in God’s timing for us. Turns out he was right!”
