How does one put this wedding into words and do it justice? I don’t think it’s possible. Megan & Cory got married this past August on Cory’s family farm that looks over the beauuuuutiful Wisconsin countryside. They kept it on the smaller side, with about 30-ish of their favorite people in attendance. Intimate weddings are sooo underrated.
Personal Touches
The entire day was full of fun personal touches that made their day uniquely theirs. Cory’s brother officiated the wedding, Megan’s sister embroidered her wedding shoes, Cory’s grandpa was in the wedding party (I need to see this become a trend, please & thank you) and they wrote their own personal vows. Some of their family & friends tented out at the farm that night, they “iced” some of their guests (if you don’t know what that is, did you even go to college?;) and they even went on a “just married” tractor ride during cocktail hour. I love when couples choose to go against typical traditions & create a day that feels 100% true to them. That is juuuust what Megan & Cory did. And it was perfect!
I need to add two things before moving on. ONE— the amount of fun that was had by Megan & Cory (& their guests) was immeasurable. There was constant laughter, stories being shared, jokes being told & SO much fun being had. It’s always fun to be a witness to a day like this one. TWO— Megan’s dress. I’ve never seen anything like it & I’m not sure I will again. It was so unbelievably breathtaking— as was the bride wearing it. 🙂
And without further ado— here is the most perfect boho intimate backyard farm wedding that ever did exist. 😉
