After a whole lot of waiting due to the pandemic— Amy & Erik finally got to say “I do” at Riverhaven in Moorhead, Minnesota. I suppose I should speak for myself, but I think it was sooo worth the wait. 😏 It was such a beautiful summer wedding day. It was a laid-back day so full of so much love & joy. And it was celebrated by all of their favorite people, just like they had envisioned when they first got engaged. It was truly special & I feel so honored to have gotten to be a part of it.
I always send through a lil questionnaire to my couples before their wedding day so that I can get a better sense of the day, help them create a timeline, etc. When I asked Amy & Erik how they saw their day coming to life— they responded by saying, “We see the wedding day coming to life through our family and friends in attendance. We want the day to be laid back— which is why guests will have a drink in their hands during the ceremony. The joy of the day is coming through with laughter, dancing, stories with all of our favorite people in the world.” 🥺💛✨ If that’s not a perfect “wedding day vision” idk what is!
I cannot express my love for these two enough (truly, they are GEMS!). Here’s a little peek into their Minnesota wedding at Riverhaven. Enjoy!
