A summer family session at an outdoor basketball court?! Ok, sign me up! Incorporating play and passions into family sessions is a newfound love of mine. I have always loved documenting “real life” and creating environments where kids and families are encouraged to be themselves. But these sessions feel… different. It’s like loosening the reigns a bit, allowing life & moments to simply happen instead of “directing” them to happen. The Webers are a sports-loving family, so it only made sense to gather the troops at a court and play ball, right? The shoot was a total blast & I’m so glad these guys trusted me to experiment a bit and capture them in their element.
