Ooohhh this summer newborn session is giving me life! Most newborn sessions are taken at the family’s home, buuuut rules are meant to be broken so we took this one outside to a nearby lake. A summer baby getting newborn photos taken at the beach— it just felt *right*. It also allowed sweet Willow (big sister!) room to play & explore during the session, which honestly is more important than you might think. 

I shot the Kingery family’s maternity photos just a few months before this session when Crew was still in mama’s belly. I loved getting to witness & capture Willow becoming a big sister (& of course getting to meet & photograph precious baby Crew). It really is so special to me whenever I have the chance to work with a family more than once. Fills me up with alll the emotions. 🙂 

Also… this post is just a little bit late. Sweet “baby” Crew is now a full-on toddler and the Kingery family is expecting baby #3. Time flies— don’t wait to get these special moments captured.
