How many photos do we get?
Weddings: 600-750+ depending on your specific day
Elopements & Intimate Weddings: 300+ depending on your specific day
Sessions: 50-100+ photos depending on the type of shoot
How will I receive the images & do I get the print release?
Via online gallery (in which you will get a link & be able to download directly to your computer). And yeppp- the print release is all yours. I also have an amazing online store you can purchase super high-quality prints, albums, etc. from.
What’s your turnaround time?
4-5 weeks for individual sessions, 8-9 weeks for weddings
What’s your approach to working with kids?
I like to let kids be kids. I want to let them run and jump and twirl and explore and play. I want to give them space to let their silly & unique quirks shine through. I like to get on their level & capture them where they’re at. I am not into super stiff, overly-posed photos. Things go so much smoother (& are way more fun) when kids aren't forced to “perform” for photos.
Do you help me with planning the session?
Of course! I love collaborating on planning out all of your hopes & dreams for the session. It’s a ton of fun for me!
What do we wear to our shoot?
I will send you help on this— don’t you worry.
How Would You Describe Your Style?
Laid-back, nostalgic, soft, real, free-spirited. I see beauty in simplicity & human connection. I focus on creating images that evoke honest emotion. I like to keep the tones in my images earthy and true (& sometimes mix in some more nostalgic, film-y edits).
What days of the week do you Book Sessions?
I book all sessions during the week. I reserve weekends for weddings & family time. ***there are unique situations in which I will make exceptions to this, so reach out with specific questions if mon- thurs absolutely doesn’t work for you***
Do you ever give raw, unedited images?
I don’t. Editing is a huge part of the end product you will receive. Also, part of choosing a good fit in your photographer is choosing their style. So make sure you choose someone’s style you love as it is.
When do you take newborn photos?
Anytime after 14 days old. I’ve also done in-home “newborn” sessions as late as 6 months. I actually really love shooting “older newborns”.
We’re awkward in front of the camera. Will this be an issue?
You’re not alone! Most of us aren’t models and I certainly don’t expect you or your kids to be. That is why you hire me. It’s MY job to make you feel comfortable and to direct you & guide you so that you feel relaxed & comfortable & confident.
Where do you take newborn photos?
Typically in your home to keep everyone as comfortable as possible. I also love shooting in-home because it feels very real & honest.
What if there is bad weather?
Different weather scenarios can actually create some really beautiful & unique images. BUT obviously if the weather is awful or dangerous— we can reschedule your shoot. For a wedding— we will create a back-up plan together.
What if I need to feed my baby?
I totally get that there might need to be breaks during the session for things like feeding. No worries at all! I am also happy to document that special bonding moment for you if you desire to have some of those intimate photos with your babe.
Do you do posed newborn photography with a bunch of props?
I don’t. I describe my approach to newborn photography as “lifestyle” — meaning there won’t be props & stiff posing involved. I capture you & your family in a natural environment. Reach out to see a full newborn gallery if you need visuals.
What if my kid(s) have a meltdown during the shoot?
No big deal, my friend. That is the last thing I want you stressing about. We can take a break when/if needed. Kids have big emotions and it’s OK! Trust me, I’ve seen my fair share from my own daughter. ;)
Can we bring pets to our shoot?
PLEASE DO!!! I am a major animal lover. The one thing I recommend is having a plan for your pet when they're not in the images. Oh and don't forget treats. :)
Can you photoshop us?
You are beautiful just the way you are, my friend. I don’t do any major body manipulations or alterations. If you have obvious blemishes or bruises- we can talk about masking those out.
Can we see a full gallery from a past shoot or Wedding?
Of course you can! Just ask and I’ll send an online gallery your way.
Do you travel? What are your travel fees?
I do! But I take very limited travel in this season of life. I have a soul that craves adventure and experiencing new places, so if it works— I would be thrilled. Travel fees would consist of mileage/airfare, lodging & rental car/uber (if applicable).
Do you do payment plans?
I am very open to creating a payment plan that spreads out the cost more if desired.
How long have you been doing photography?
I officially went full- time in May of 2018, but have been shooting weddings and lifestyle sessions “on-the-side” since 2013. I love my job!
Do you offer discounts?
I don’t at this time.
How can we book?
I’m so glad you feel connected to my work. For sessions, you are required to sign a contract to secure a date (payment for sessions is due the day before your session date). Weddings require a 30% non-refundable retainer to secure your date. From there, I will be in touch with you about next steps. I cannot wait to work with you! Please reach out HERE.
Do you do sneak peeks?
You bet, my friend. You will see a small preview within 72 hours of the
wedding day (unless circumstances don’t allow for some reason, in which you will be notified).
Do you help me with the timeline for my wedding?
Of course! Every wedding day is different & every couple has their own unique desires, so we will craft a custom timeline together that will feel true to you & how you want to spend your day.
Do you have a second photographer?
Yes, I have a few awesome teammates that I will reach out to if you decide to add on a second shooter. If it’s in budget- I recommend adding a second photographer onto your collection.
Do you recommend doing an engagement session?
YES!! I find it to be a super important time to have together before the wedding day. There are no tight timelines, no guests to chat with, no wedding-day nerves. It’s just you guys, me and my camera (& some good music!). It’s the perfect time to continue to get to know one another. When you feel comfortable with me-— it makes a world of difference.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
For weddings, there is a small rescheduling fee if the date is within six months of the original date. A new retainer will be required to book a date outside of six months of the original. If you cancel, the retainer becomes a cancellation fee. For more information on this, see below “Policies & Procedures
For sessions, if the client decides to reschedule— a $100 rescheduling fee will be collected. If we need to reschedule due to things out of our control (inclement weather, emergency, illness, etc.)— we will work together to find a new date at no charge. If client cancels within 30 days of the session— there will be a $200 termination fee.
What happens if you can’t make it to our wedding?
There would need to be something major happening for me not to be there. But in the case of emergency, illness, etc. I will do everything in my power to find a professional, trusted “associate” to shoot the wedding. Unless circumstances didn’t allow, I would still edit & deliver the final gallery.
When do you suggest doing maternity photos?
Typically between 28-36 weeks, but it varies based on your own personal preferences.

Pricing
Family & couple’s session pricing currently ranges from $550-$725+. Most sessions are 60-90 minutes in length and include all edited images (you’ll get more than you need… trust me). :) You’ll receive the images in an online gallery and are immediately able to download both web & high-resolution files. You also have the option to purchase prints, albums, etc. through the online store (recommended, though not required). There are also a couple of add-ons to customize your session.
2025 wedding pricing currently starts at $6150. This is specific for an 8+ hour wedding day. There are additional add-ons and ways to customize your collection. If you’re looking for a quote on smaller, more intimate wedding days— please reach out. Those days are often unique to each couple, so I typically will send custom quotes based on what you’re looking for. With all collections— you will receive all edited images in an online gallery & are immediately able to download both web & high-resolution files. You also have the option to purchase prints, albums, etc. through the online store (recommended, though not required).
Mini sessions. I do periodically offer mini sessions throughout the year for a lower rate. These are announced via email & social media. Note that mini sessions are treated very differently than a full session given time restraints and truly aren’t for everyone. Buuuut I like to offer them each year as a way to continue working with past clients & also for some new clients to find me in a different capacity. Cost varies each year.
Other sessions. If you don’t see the type of session you’re looking for in this list— please don’t let that stop you from reaching out. I’m always looking for ways to broaden my horizons and I love the challenge of working in different ways.

Wedding Reschedules & Cancellations
If client decides to reschedule their wedding (& the notice is provided 90 days or more before wedding date), the new date must be within six months of the original scheduled date or the retainer will be part of the cancellation fee. If client decides to reschedule their wedding (& the notice is 90 days or less from wedding date), an additional $500 fee is required. If Nicole is not available for the rescheduled date, she may keep the retainer and is relieved of any further obligations under the contract. A new retainer will be required to book a date outside of six months of the original. If client cancels their wedding (& the notice is provided 90 days or more before wedding date), Nicole will not be obligated to refund any money client has paid (retainer, etc.), and the client agrees to pay Nicole for any services completed and costs incurred by that time that are above the amounts already paid. If the client cancels their wedding (& the notice is provided 90 days or less from wedding date), the client is obligated to pay Nicole the entire amount & Nicole has no obligation to reschedule or provide a credit to client. If Nicole needs to cancel/terminate the contract she will issue a refund or credit from amount client has paid (based on a reasonably accurate percentage of Services rendered). Nicole will also do her best to find and refer a replacement photographer of equal value, style and quality.
NOTE: if reschedules or cancellations happen due to force majeure events (i.e. emergency, serious illness, natural disaster, etc.)— there is more leniency within these guidelines (more information will be in your contract).
Wedding Retainers: 30% of the base collection price is due upon receipt to secure your wedding date. Upon payment of the retainer, Nicole will officially reserve the date agreed upon.
