Using a low-stress, playful approach while intentionally capturing the precious little things about your family that you never want to forget.
I want you to be
free of expectations & truly let
go. I don’t care if the kids get dirty or
have big emotions. Let’s go with the flow & feel the ease & the beauty of just being. I want to document you & your children *living*. There is such freedom in capturing kids without forcing them to perform on command.
As I have entered motherhood myself, I just feel so connected to this work. I can relate on a deep level to what this season of life is like.

Family sessions are a blend of documentary & lifestyle photography (”docu-style”, if you will). During these sessions, I like to allow things to unfold naturally & authentically, while also stepping in & “directing” when (& IF) it feels right. We’ll follow the little ones’ lead & meet them where they’re at. My focus is always on capturing meaningful moments over the perfect photo. It’s less about where we are or even what we’re doing and more about who we’re with. When those things remain the focus, the end result will always be one of honesty, connection & substance.
"It is truly an honor and blessing to connect with Nicole each year and I only wish it was more often. What Nicole does for our family is well beyond just photos that she captures and produces. The pictures are truly amazing and she continues to blow us out of the water with her talent and ability to capture the most precious moments and details. She takes a moment and makes it something we can cherish for the rest of our lives."
50-100+ photos depending on the type of shoot.
Via online gallery (in which you will get a link & be able to download directly to your computer). And yeppp- the print release is all yours. I also have an amazing online store you can purchase super high-quality prints, albums, etc. from.

I like to let kids be kids. I want to let them run and jump and twirl and explore and play. I want to give them space to let their silly & unique quirks shine through. I like to get on their level & capture them where they’re at. I am not into super stiff, overly-posed photos. Things go so much smoother (& are way more fun) when kids are forced to “perform” for photos.
Of course! I love collaborating on planning out all of your hopes & dreams for the session. It’s a ton of fun for me!
I book all sessions during the week. I reserve weekends for weddings & family time. **there are unique situations in which I will make exceptions to this, so reach out with specific questions if mon- thurs absolutely doesn’t work for you.**
I don’t. Editing is a huge part of the end product you will receive. Also, part of choosing a good fit in your photographer is choosing their style. So make sure you choose someone’s style you love as it is.
You’re not alone! Most of us aren’t models and I certainly don’t expect you or your kids to be. That is why you hire me. It’s MY job to make you feel comfortable and to direct you & guide you so that you feel relaxed & comfortable & confident.
Different weather scenarios can actually create some really beautiful & unique images. BUT obviously if the weather is awful or dangerous— we can reschedule your shoot.
I do! But I take very limited travel in this season of life. I have a soul that craves adventure and experiencing new places, so if it works— I would be thrilled. Travel fees would consist of mileage/airfare, lodging & rental car/uber (if applicable).
I will send you help on this— don’t you worry.
Anytime after 14 days old. I’ve also done in-home “newborn” sessions as late as 6 months. I actually really love shooting “older newborns”.
Typically in your home to keep everyone as comfortable as possible. I also love shooting in-home because it feels very real & honest.
I totally get that there might need to be breaks during the session for things like feeding. No worries at all! I am also happy to document that special bonding moment for you if you desire to have some of those intimate photos with your babe.
No big deal, my friend. That is the last thing I want you stressing about. We can take a break when/if needed. Kids have big emotions and it’s OK! Trust me, I’ve seen my fair share from my own daughter. ;)
PLEASE DO!!! I am a major animal lover.
I don’t. I describe my approach to newborn photography as “lifestyle”—meaning there won’t be props & stiff posing involved. I capture you & your family in a natural environment. Reach out to see a full newborn gallery if you need visuals.
You are beautiful just the way you are, my friend. I don’t do any major body manipulations or alterations. If you have obvious blemishes or bruises- we can talk about masking those out.
I am very open to creating a payment plan that spreads out the cost more if desired.
[happy dance] I’m so glad you feel connected to my work. In order to book a session, you are required to sign a contract to secure a date. From there, I will be in touch with you about next steps. I cannot wait to work with you!

Maybe you’re over perfect family portraits and are craving something that feels a bit more honest. Or maybe just more creative, but still true-to-you. Here’s a little something to get you inspired. The options are truly endless.
"She’s so excellent at making you feel comfortable behind the camera, giving you guidance on posing, while also magically capturing the essence of you and the season of life you’re in."
Let’s capture this season of chaos because babies & toddlers & kiddos don’t keep. Don't wait to document these precious days because they genuinely do go by so fast. Tomorrow, your babe will be a little bit older than they were today.
