Where do I even start with this wedding and these two amazing humans?! I have nothing but love for Caitlin + Shane. From the moment I met them back in December I knew that we were not only going to work well together, but be fast friends. We sat in a coffee shop and just chatted and it felt like I’d known them for longer than, ya know, an hour.
Fast forward a few months to their wedding. Throughout the course of the day there were multiple times that these two brought tears to my eyes. One in particular was during their vows. They each wrote their own and spoke so deeply and genuinely from the heart. It was one of the most beautiful exchanges I’ve witnessed. So full of heart and vulnerability. Such an intimate moment shared with all of their family and friends. And somehow I was fortunate enough to be able to document that moment and alllll of the beautiful moments of that day. Not sure I could get much luckier. Besides the fact that I got to chow down on food from Gastrotruck and ice cream from Grand Ole Creamery. I mean, that was just the ultimate icing on the cake. 😉
I asked Caitlin what the most memorable part of their wedding day was and these were her words: “Our ceremony was perfectly us and so meaningful. I will never forget how it felt to be surrounded by the people that love us with the sun setting and my husband telling me how much he loved me. Having Shane’s aunt officiate the wedding for us made us feel right at home and made everything else feel so genuine!”
